First, if you haven’t heard about Pandora yet, you should definitely give it a try. It rocks so hard. There are a ton of cool mashups, plugins and hacks for Pandora but today I’m going to focus on a legal, simple one. What will you need for this hookup? First you need to make sure you are using Firefox, second you will need to setup an account at Pandora and third you will need to snag the FoxyTunes Plugin. Basically after you grab those three things restart your browser and you can now use pandora from the status bar of firefox. Since basically I usually spend my days listening to Pandora, this plugin is just so sweet.. and mad props to the foxytunes peeps for incorporating Pandora support into their plugin.

Since I’ve mostly developed this blog on my local computer for the first time ever there has not been a lot of testing, uploading and trying out new things live on the website. I still have work to do on the individual post pages, I’m going to rework the main page a little more but for the most part the overall “look” is finished. The updates that still need finished up on the individual post pages are basically just for looks, most of the html is valid.. I need to tweek a few things to get links and what not working the same in IE as they do in FF but hopefully that won’t be a big deal.

This blog started as a small experiment in standards and quickly evolved into my first “real” website project that was strictly for myself since college. It’s interesting that I spend each day writing, optimizing, programming, designing yet I never felt the need to actually apply any of that to a personal website. Two weeks and hours of trial and error has brought me to the point where I feel comfortable droping my frist post. Stay tuned there should be a few posts a week showing up here.
