A New Tool For PPC & SEO

I tested and used the new tool from SEOMOZ. I like it and I like it a lot more then Google’s Page Rank. For those of you looking to test the cost of new keywords both in PPC and SEO this tool can and will give you a great deal of information that can be used to formulate a constructive plan. This page does have some advanced ideas and techniques but nothing that is too complicaed. It also introduces the user to some other fantastic SEO / PPC tools.

Five Simple Steps To Basic SEO

  • In your httaccess make your domain either always go to www.domain.com or .domain.com - stop splitting page rank
  • Use Valid HTML & CSS - At least then bots can read your site easily
  • Do not use flash - If you must use flash bury it at the bottom of your site
  • Use Title Tags, H1, H2 tags - Inform search engines about your site using the proper html in the proper places
  • Write content & lots of it - make it targeted to your site and make it useful.
